Instant Gratification is a depiction of Dick's, a fast food chain in Seattle. If you've ever had Dick's, you know the happiness associated with leaving the window holding a heavy, greasy bag full of satisfaction. Most of the meaning in this piece is implied. There are many ways to think about it. The name of the restaurant it's self is ironic.

This original mixed media painting was created on Belgian linen canvas with oil and acrylic paint, PVC vinyl, African wax print, fabric, tulle and thread thread.
